INX Remains Platinum Sponsor of Print UV with Expanding 2027 Conference

As a founding sponsor, INK supports the expanded event as it responds to changing sustainability and regulatory requirements.

INX International Ink Co. announced it will continue its long-running Platinum sponsorship for the 2027 Print UV Conference, extending a relationship that dates to the event’s inception in 2008.

The biennial conference for commercial printers, packaging producers and label converters will be held April 19-21 at Encore at Wynn Las Vegas.

Since its founding, Print UV has provided an intimate, peer-oriented setting where owners, executives, production leaders, technical experts and technology providers can discuss emerging opportunities and learn from companies putting new technologies to work.

This collaborative environment is a primary reason why INX has continued its support for nearly two decades.

Registration is now open for the event, which is expanding its programming around three interconnected areas: UV and LED UV innovation, high-value print and special effects, and applied artificial intelligence for print.

“INX has been part of Print UV since the conference began in 2008. Their continued support represents exactly what this event was built around with bringing technology leaders and printers together to openly exchange ideas and move the industry forward,” said Steve Metcalf, co-founder of Print UV. INX brings tremendous technical depth across commercial printing, packaging and labels, and we are especially pleased to have that perspective involved as Print UV expands the conversation around high-value print, special effects and applied AI.”

UV and LED UV technology will remain at the center of the 2027 conference. Programming will address developments in curing systems, inks, coatings and substrates, along with extended-gamut printing, food-safe packaging, sustainability, productivity and process control.

The program will also examine high-value printing and special effects, including embellishments, tactile coatings, foil and premium packaging applications. All are designed to help printers and converters differentiate their work and create greater value for their customers.

Print UV 2027 also will significantly expand its coverage of applied AI, with discussions focused on practical uses across leadership, sales, estimating, creative development, workflow automation, production and business operations.

“Print UV has always created an unusually valuable opportunity to have meaningful conversations with printers and converters about the technologies and business issues affecting their operations,” said Renee Schouten, vice president of marketing for INX. “That is why we have continued to support the conference year after year. It allows us to share technical knowledge, but equally important, to listen to customers and better understand the challenges they are trying to solve.”

The expanded concentration coincides with INX’s own investment in digital transformation. Earlier this year, INX announced a strategic collaboration with chemistry AI company Albert Invent to help convert its research and development operations.

The initiative is designed to connect R&D workflows, capture experimental knowledge and build a stronger data foundation for AI-assisted discovery across INX’s global expertise in color management, formulation science, energy-curable technologies and other ink systems.

“The expanded Print UV program recognizes that these subjects are becoming increasingly interconnected,” Schouten said. “Commercial printers, packaging producers and label converters need to understand not only what technologies are emerging, but how they can use them to their advantage and improve productivity, create differentiated applications, address evolving requirements and strengthen their businesses.”

By using the code INXVIP, attendees can save an additional $200 when they register.
